It’s been a while since I wrote here. So much has happened. But I want to talk about today.

October 1st is a rainy day. And I didn’t bring an umbrella.

Today I decided to skip class - my friends asked me to get lunch (we went to a KBBQ place - which was pretty good despite it being centred in Lafayette) and I had gone to bed at 2AM in the morning after taking a particularly nasty Electrical Engineering exam.

Not to digress but it sucks when you spend so much time studying for this exam, reviewing the homeworks, the available past exams, and online lectures, only for the content on the exam to focus on extremely niche concepts and have many questions on content mostly divorced from what appears on what study material I could gather. It feels like all of my efforts were for nought. Pretty depressing - but hopefully the next 3 exams are better.

So far the semester has been fruitful emotionally. I spend most of my time with my friends, studying or completing assignments. I try to finish my work by Thursday, though lately I must be slowing down in pace as I have two things due by this Friday. Gotta lock in.

I’ve been focusing a lot on my club activities - since I became Vice President of the Valorant club I’ve been working hard to make the club more active and popular. We’ve seen some good progress; our follower count on Instagram has increased, we’ve reached out to and made potential partners with a decent amount of student clubs, and we have a hard working and creative team. Things are looking pretty good. But there’s a lot of work to be done.

I also have been working on the website and other sites in my free time. As you may have noticed, the site has gone through an overhaul! Really happy with how it looks, and I’m gonna add more weather modes over time. I also have a few other pages in the works - but they’re a secret for now. Stay tuned =)

I also have become more involved with another club - Purdue Hackers. What they do is very inspiring. It’s full of creative go-getters and it makes me want to build my own projects and delve more into software or design! I was fortunate to be invited to join their webring - which is kind of like a list of websites of Purdue Hackers members. Feels nice to be part of a community like that - even if I’m new to it.

Anyway, this is like the longest post I’ve written so far. But there’s been so much more going on in my life - and sometimes it feels like things are moving too fast for me to kind of stop and think about things. I’ll have another thought post up soon - hopefully.

Until then, I’ll be seeing ya!
